Green Chiffon Button Up Shirt with White Lace Bra Showing

Shirts, Blouses, Tops and Why Bras Matter........Let's Discuss!

I've been dressing people for over thirty plus years, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the best outfits are built from the inside out. So welcome to the newest board in the shop.

The Bras Are the Whole Point

Let's just say it: most "basics" bras are boring. Beige, forgettable, built to disappear. Not these. This edit is all color, print, and fabric with actual personality — think jewel-tone lace, graphic mesh, a print you'd wear as outerwear if you could. And here's my stylist take, non-negotiable: if a bra strap peeks out from under a tank or slips off a shoulder, that is not a wardrobe malfunction. That's the outfit working. A great strap is an accessory. Stop hiding it!

Shirts

Crisp, a little bit bossy, endlessly re-wearable. The kind of shirt that works buttoned all the way up with trousers, or knotted at the waist over the bra you're not hiding anymore. Slim and cinched or oversized and draped off a shoulder. Structure with an edge.

Blouses

Softer, more fluid, but never sweet-and-safe. These are cut to move and drape, in fabrics and details that keep them from reading "just another blouse." Layer one open. Let what's underneath do some of the talking. Pretty. Cool. Sexy.

Tops

Tops are the pieces that make everything else on this board work. Layer one over a bra you're not hiding, tuck one under a blouse left open, or just wear one on its own — they're simple by design, but that's what makes them so easy to style ten different ways.

So that's the board — four categories, one point of view: great bras aren't underwear, they're outfit-makers. Go shop it, mix it up, and let that strap show. I want to see what you build. Shop it here.
